I recently read an interesting article - Too little sleep tied to increased cancer risk
This made me think - "Am I getting enough sleep?". Well in my case the answer is yes. Most days I manage to get about 8 hours of shut-eye, which for my body is just right. This is not an option for everyone, so the alternative is getting a better quality sleep.
"And how might I do this you ask?"
Simple - make your sleeping environment the most hospitable place possible.
1. Try to avoid synthetic materials:
• Polyester
• Nylon
• Synthetic Latex
• Polystyrene and Polyurethane Foam
• and any materials treated with fire retardant chemicals
2. Instead look for natural materials:
• Cotton
• Wool
• Natural Latex
• and Bamboo
Here at SleepySheep we work hard to provide the best quality natural bedding products for just this purpose.
So if sleeping more can help reduce the risk of Cancer I'm in, and I encourage you to make sleeping 7+ hours/day a part of your life too.
